What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small values stored by a browser and sent with relevant requests. Local storage and similar browser technologies can retain preferences without being sent on every request.
Essential technologies
Authentication and security storage keeps a user signed in, completes OAuth and email redirects, protects sessions, and routes requests to the correct workspace. These technologies are necessary to provide the requested studio and cannot be disabled inside Goosecast while signed in.
Preferences
Goosecast may remember interface language, dismissed guidance, accessibility choices, and non-sensitive production preferences. Removing those values resets the corresponding preference but does not delete workspace data stored on the server.
Measurement
Privacy-conscious product measurement may record page or feature events to understand reliability and activation. Source text, audio, complete provider credentials, and private signed links are excluded. Non-essential measurement is enabled only when permitted by the applicable consent setting and law.
Third-party services
Authentication, billing, support, and embedded third-party destinations may set their own storage when you use those features. Their policies apply to storage controlled by them. Goosecast does not permit advertising trackers inside the private production studio.
Your controls
Browser settings can remove or block storage. Blocking essential session storage prevents sign-in and authenticated studio functions. Where a consent panel is required, it provides controls for non-essential measurement without affecting essential authentication.
Changes
This page is updated when the storage categories or purposes materially change. The current effective date appears above.
